My Story

I decided many years ago that I wanted to wait for God’s best for my life when it came to marriage. I knew there was no better matchmaker than my Creator. So I entered this journey of proactively waiting not knowing what to expect, leaving the outcome fully up to God. Admittedly, this journey has not always been easy. There are moments where I experience great contentment and other times when I feel utter frustration due to the length of time I’ve had to wait. But I hold on to the promise found in Isaiah 64:4 that “eyes have not seen what God had prepared for those who wait for Him.”

I believe that the Lord wants to pour out His best gifts on you. I believe that He has something incredible in store for you that is packaged within a waiting season. Many do not get to experience God’s best because they rush the process, lean to their own understanding, and falter in their faith. But I believe with all my heart that God is worth the wait.

So, I am inviting you to come on this journey with me. Together, let’s form a sisterhood, a coalition of women who are determined to wait well. Join me as we create a community of women who will be proactive in their waiting season.

What does waiting well look like? It’s seeking a closer walk with God and allowing Him to be our soulmate first before a spouse comes into the picture. It’s preparing for what you’re praying for. It’s waiting with expectancy and excitement for what’s to come. It’s encouraging, uplifting and supporting other women on their waiting journey. This ministry is for women aged between 30 and 45 who, like me, are on a journey of waiting on the Lord with grace, intention, and purpose. Inspired by the transformative encounter of the Samaritan woman at the well, our ministry is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive community for unmarried women who seek to embrace their season of singleness by waiting well. Within this sisterhood, we gather to delve into meaningful discussions, share insightful ideas, offer unwavering support, and uplift one another. We believe in the power of sisterhood and the strength found in unity. Together, we navigate through the challenges and joys of waiting, knowing that we are not alone in our journey. Central to our ministry is the understanding that Jesus can be our ultimate soulmate. Through Him, we find fulfillment, purpose, and unconditional love. We learn to lean on Him in times of loneliness, trust in His perfect timing, and find contentment in His presence. In our gatherings, we explore various topics relevant to our lives as single women, drawing wisdom from both biblical teachings and personal experiences. We seek to grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally, as we wait with hopeful anticipation for what the future may hold. Ultimately, our ministry is a testament to the beauty found in embracing our season of singleness with grace and purpose. Together, we learn to wait well, trusting in God's plan for our lives and finding joy in the journey.
